Unfortunately for this teacher, the reflection the kids will see in the mirror<br />

will not be theirs, it will be hers. Her lack of planning <strong>and</strong> establishing procedures<br />

or rules when there is a visi<strong>to</strong>r is evident in her students’ poor<br />

behavior. Being prepared is the only way <strong>to</strong> h<strong>and</strong>le unexpected visi<strong>to</strong>rs.<br />

Good teachers expect <strong>and</strong> plan for the unexpected.<br />

as he could. They ended up spending time playing soccer for almost 4 hours. My ex<br />

that, but after that day, he had never skipped my class anymore.<br />
