11.5 Calibration<br />

It is recommended to perform a calibration once a year to assure the measuring<br />

accuracy.<br />

Required instruments:<br />

DC Voltage Standard: YOKOGAWA Model 2552 or equivalent.<br />

Decade Resistance Box: YOKOGAWA Model 2793-01 or equivalent.<br />

11.5 Calibration<br />

Calibration procedure:<br />

1 Connect the calibration instrument to the input terminals of the recorder as shown in<br />

figures 11.3, 4 , 5 or 6 and allow the recorder to warm up for at least 30 minutes.<br />

Allow the instrument to warm up according to its specifications.<br />

2 Check that the ambient temperature and humidity are within Normal Operating<br />

Conditions (see chapter 10 ‘General Specifications’).<br />

3 Apply an input corresponding to 0, 50 and 100 percentage of the entered setting range,<br />

and calculate errors from the readings on the display.<br />

4 If the error is at any point outside the accuracy limits (for accuracies, see chapter 10<br />

‘General Specifications’), contact your nearest Sales & Service Office. Addresses may<br />

be found on the back cover of this manual.<br />

NOTE For a TC input, it is necessary to measure the temperature of the input terminals, and<br />

add a voltage corresponding to the reference temperature.<br />

DC Voltage Measurement<br />

The figure blow shows the pen model, but connection should be done in the same way<br />

for the dot model.<br />
