Chapter 5 DAILY OPERATION<br />

This chapter describes the daily operation of the µR1800, excluding settings.<br />

Please read this chapter carefully before operation.<br />

5.1 How to Switch the Power ON/OFF<br />

CAUTION<br />

The power switch is located behind the door, at the front side, in the middle of the lower<br />

front (see figure 5.1a.). The power is supplied to the instrument when the power switch<br />

is in the position as shown in figure 5.1b. The power is OFF when the power switch is<br />

in the position as shown in figure 5.1b. The power can be turned ON/OFF by alternately<br />

pressing the switch. When you do not use the instrument, please turn ‘OFF’ the power.<br />

5.1 How to Switch the Power ON/OFF<br />

NOTE After turning ON the power, the µR1800 will first perform a self diagnostic check for<br />

several seconds.<br />

The warm-up time is approx. 30 minutes. (However, just after finishing the<br />

wiring, it might take longer. Especially if you removed the input terminals during<br />

wiring.)<br />

If the input wiring is connected parallel with other equipments, switching the<br />

power ON/OFF should not be done.<br />

If error message appears on the display or is printed on the chart, please refer<br />

to the Error Message Table at sect.12.1.<br />
