EXPLANATION OF SQUARE ROOT:<br />

The µR1800 uses the following square rooting-method:<br />

V min = minimum value of recording span (LEFT)<br />

V max = maximum value of recording span (RIGHT)<br />

F min = minimum value of scale (SCL LEFT)<br />

F max = maximum value of scale (SCL RIGHT)<br />

V x = input voltage<br />

F x = scaling value<br />

The relationship between V x (input voltage) and F x (scaling value) is as shown in the<br />

graph below (the graph configuration is approximate).<br />
