2. <strong>The</strong> Presentation Evaluation Form<br />

<strong>The</strong> most common evaluation is an evaluation given immediately<br />

after the presentation. <strong>The</strong> evaluation will vary in length and level <strong>of</strong><br />

complexity depending on the extent and intricacy <strong>of</strong> the presentation.<br />

We like evaluations that are both quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative<br />

evaluations allow you to see if you are making progress over<br />

time. Qualitative evaluations allow you to get information that is more<br />

idiosyncratic about the content <strong>of</strong> the presentation, what your audience<br />

enjoyed, what they learned, and specific targets for improvement.<br />

An example <strong>of</strong> this type <strong>of</strong> evaluation is presented in Figure 7-2<br />

below.<br />
