3.1.23.3 Range Indication Bits (RNG[4:0])<br />

The range indication bits indicate the full-scale range of the device as shown below.<br />

3.1.24 Self-Test Deflection register (ACC_STDATA)<br />

The self-test deflection register is a factory-programmable OTP register which contains the nominal self-test deflection value at<br />

25°C. The register is included in the factory-programmed OTP verification described in Section 3.2.<br />

The self-test value is a positive deflection value, measured at the factory, and factory-programmed for each device. the stored<br />

value is equal to the difference between the factory measured value at nominal temperature and the minimum self-test limit at<br />

25°C (ACC_STDATA = ST MEASURED - ΔST MIN). When self-test is activated, the acceleration reading is compared to the value in<br />

this register. The difference from the measured deflection value, and the nominal deflection value stored in the register shall not<br />

fall outside the self-test accuracy limits specified in Section 2.5 (ΔST ACC ). Reference Section 3.5.2 for more details on calculating<br />

the self-test limits.<br />

3.1.25 Acceleration Configuration register (ACC_CFG)<br />

The acceleration configuration register is a user programmable read/write register which contains acceleration data specific<br />

configuration information. The register is included in the read/write array verification described in Section 3.2.<br />
