of preceptor’s feet only.

wants the fulfillment of morality, money desire and release. Goswami
Tulsidas has given the conclusion in the very first line of the epic,
where as conclusion is always at the end.
2 Oh, the son of air ! I prey you assuming that I am unwise
you please bless me with strength, wisdom and knowledge and
in turn release me from all sufferings and evils .
In the very start Tulsidasji tells Hanumanji about our
drawbacks. He says Hanumanji-‘we lack wisdom and good health’.
Then he requests for strength, wisdom and knowledge. All the three
are different matters, Only strength won’t do, we need wisdom also,
only strength and wisdom are insufficient knowledge is also
necessary. This is the time to be educated. It is further said,
Hanaumanji, take away all our sufferings and evils.

loks ( Heaven ,earth and ocean) one enlightend with your fame. Oh,
god, we again bow you.
Hanuman Chalisa starts with a invoke of victory. Indian culture
believe in victory. First address is to Hanuman. Bajrangbali has
many names, but Hanumanji is very much liked by Tulsidasji. There
is a small story, once Hanumanji took sun into his mouth, Indra hit
him by his ‘Vajra’. Hanumanji fainted and his chin, called
‘Hanu’broke, that’s why he is called Hanuman.
Hanuman has one more meaning that is one who give up his
ego, is Hanuman.
