3 Brotherhood
The third relation about which Ramji said,
advising Vibhishan, was of brother. In KishkindhaKand
we find two brothers Bali and Sugreev.
Scared by Bali Sugreev suns away from
KishkindhaKand . But then also Bali chased him. It
depicts that revenge was Bali’s nature. He did not know
forgiveness. He wanted to see others bowed down
every time.
Although Sugreev took this as a matter of personal
conflict but Ramji took it as a matter of general
importance. Whatever Bali did was related to social
conduct. And not to punish such offence is to support it
silently. Furthermore Bali was not feeling guilt for his
deeds. To forgive him in such situations was not
possible.
Ramji also observed the qualities of Bali. Rawan
was also ambitious, but his friend Bali did not behaved
as Rawan, to fulfill his desires. Bali liked self-praise
and Rawan appreciated him and became his friend.
