Oh blissful Lord ! My son Angad is equivalent to
me in strength and courtesy, please accept him. Oh the
lord of men and diety, make him your servant by
holding his arm.
This is a very strange incident. Bali gave his son to
Shri Ramji. If we observe Angad’s emotions or
psychology here. A man whose father has been killed
and he is being given in the hands of the same person,
who has killed his father .This young man accepts this
silently, is it not strange?
Here are two aspects, the decision of Bali as a
father is a lesson to every father today. Whom should
we entrust our children? Bali decided right and
entrusted his new generation to Ramji and Hanumanji.
It was the best decision ever taken.
Secondly, if we look at the point of view of Angad,
this incident is a lesson for new generation to respect
parent’s decision. Children must be assured that their
parents are giving their future and plans in safe hands.
Today’s generation is very much worried for its
future. They are in a hurry. Patience and prayer have
lost meaning in their lives. If Shri Ramji is in life, their
will be love and affection, not lust. Their will be
patience not excitement and anger, there will success
not distress.
From here will come the feeling of prayer in
children’s life. We should teach children not to spread
hands, but to raise hands and that too before almighty
