Soul<br />
The preparation to reach soul is the name of killing<br />
Rawan. There are eight ways of Yoga,<br />
Yam – Abstention from evil doing.<br />
Niyam – Observances,<br />
Aasan - Posture<br />
Pranayam – Control of ‘Pran’<br />
Pratyahar – Withdrawal of mind from sense objects<br />
Dharna – Concentration<br />
Dhyan - Meditation<br />
Samadhi – Absorption in the soul.<br />
By, Yam, Niyam and Aasan, we learnt and<br />
maintained the discipline of body. Dhyan and Samadhi<br />
are a matter of soul. Pranayam, Pratyahar and dharna,<br />
balance the mind. There fore we have to understand this<br />
series and reach Samadhi. Those who directly want to<br />
reach Samadhi they fail to achieve.<br />
People complaint that during meditation they fall<br />
asleep or all the thoughts came at that time only. That’s<br />
why before reaching dhyan, we must go through the<br />
ways of Ashtang yoga serially
