mind, our momentary desires, continuously appears
to create unsatisfaction every time . This is the reason
behind tension.
Uneasiness of mind is due to excess of thoughts. If
the feelings of thought will reduce, automatically the
mind will be at ease. When mind is thoughtless, it is
in peace. Our suppressed feelings will not perish ,if
we don’t let our thoughts rest. We will not have
happiness but have tension. During meditation the
thoughts calm down. Mind becomes pious.
During meditation energy is diverted inwards.
When energy is introvert, then state of doing nothing
appears. Silence of sense organs means-inactiveness.
Whatever we do, we do it through our sense organs.
When our senses become introvert, by being silent,
then outer activities stop, but the process continues
through mental-thoughts. As soon as the mind adopts
silence, the thought process ends. With the rest of
thoughts, peace enters.
Unsteadiness of mind is related to breath.
Whenever mind is excited, breath are fast. With the
lowering of the speed of breath, mind automatically
attains peace-
There are three drawbacks of mind-filth,
unsteadiness of mind and the veil of ignorance
