Yam and Niyam are the foundation stone of yoga, from<br />
here starts the purity of heart.<br />
3.Aasan – it is a yogic exercise, patanjali has defined as<br />
–whatever is firm and relaxed is asan.<br />
There are many type of posture, meditaters can<br />
adopt according to their ease. It must be kept in mind, if<br />
the body is suffering from certain disease for which a<br />
certain posture is restricted, then do not follow it<br />
without a mentor.<br />
4. Pranayam- Science of control over breath.<br />
5. Pratyahar- Control over sense organs.<br />
6. Dharna- To concentrate mind on a specific point.<br />
7. Dhyan - Concentration of nature. There must be no<br />
subject and no object before mind and we must be<br />
fully conscious.<br />
8. Samadhi –This is a divine position, here nature<br />
completely dissolves and it is a state of super<br />
concentration.<br />
