Hanuman :- “My majesty ! I would have not dared to
request this, but when you introduced and said that you
are the son of king Dashrath, then I thought when you
are his son you must have definitely sit in his lap.”
Ram :- “Yes Hanuman it is true ?”
Hanuman :- “So Lord, if you can be sit in his lap, then
you can also sit on my back, and you should not have
any objection also.”
Ram:- “Hanuman, if my father carried me in his lap
then you can also carry me in your lap, why on back?”
Hanuman :- “Oh God ! The difference between lap and
back is that when one sits in lap he is held by the person
in whose lap he is. But when he sits on back he himself
hold the person, on whose back he is sitting, I want you
to hold me that’s why I want you to carry on my back.
If we will hold God, we don’t know when we will leave
him, but if God holds us then there is no fear of being
left alone.”
Ram :- “Hanuman ! you are taking us on the hill, to
make friendship with Sugreev, but I think why don’t
you bring Sugreev down here, why are you taking us
their.”
Hanuman :- “Lord ! If Sugreev comes to you and make
friend then it will be said that Sugreev made you friend.
He is a worldly creature, we can’t believe him. You are
the Brahma, if you will go up hill for friendship then it
will be ever lasting.”
