When war starts, on fifth day, Rawan comes on<br />

chariot. That time Vibhishan requested Ramji also, to<br />

come on chariot. Then Shri Ram gave the knowledge to<br />

Vibhishan on the Dharm-Rath, which is known as<br />

Manas Gita. Shri Ramji said-<br />

The ocean of compassion Shri Ramji says, friend,<br />

the chariot which make us victorious is another one.<br />

The 13 characteristics of the “Dharm-Rath” has been<br />

said. The knowledge which Shri Krishan gave to Arjun,<br />

the same philosophical conversation took place in<br />

between Ramji and Vibhishan. Ramji says explaining.<br />

(1). Two wheels-chivalry and patience (2). Banner-<br />

Truth and moral conduct. (3). Four horses-Strength,<br />

discretion, power and benovalence. (4). Rope-<br />

Forgiveness, pity, equality. (5). Clever Charioteer-hym<br />

of God. (6). Shield- Renunciation (7). Sword-<br />

Contentment. (8). Spade-charity. (9). Strength-<br />

Intelligence. (10). Bow-Science. (11). Quiver- Free<br />

from sin, stable mind. (12). Arrow-Control of mind,<br />

yam, niyam. (13). Armour-Brahman worship and<br />

preceptor’s worship.<br />

In this example is hidden a very beautiful<br />

philosophy of struggle between good and evil. Rawan<br />

applied “Shakti” on Laxman, and assuming him<br />
