Reagent No. 10<br />

10% Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) Reagent<br />

Measure 10 ml HCl and dissolve in 90ml-distilled water.<br />

Reagent No. 11 Robert's Reagent for Protein<br />

To 1 lit of distilled water add magnesium sulphate (MgSO 4 )<br />

with stirring until no more to dissolve.<br />

Add 200-ml concentrated HN0 3 & mix.<br />

Reagent No.12 Sulkowitch Reagent for Calcium<br />

Weigh 4 gm Ammonium Oxalate and dissolved in 100 ml<br />

distilled water.<br />

Reagent No.13 Alcoholic Solution of Zinc Acetate for Urobilin<br />

Place 100 ml of ethyl alcohol in a beaker.<br />

Add Zinc Acetate with string until no more goes into solution.<br />

Weigh 5 gm of Iodine and 10 gm of KI.<br />

Transfer all reagents to a brown bottle.<br />

Reagent No.14 Sulphosalicylic Acid Reagent ( 20% W/V)<br />

Sulphosalcylic acid ----------------------- 200 gm<br />

Dilute to 1 lit. Volume with distilled H 2 O.<br />

Reagent No.15 Sodiumnitroprusside Rreagent<br />

Weigh 10 gm of Sodium Nitroprusside (Nitroferricyanide).<br />

Transfer to a flask containing 95ml of water and 2ml of<br />

concentrated H 2 SO 4.<br />

Mix and store in a brown bottle.
