Besides <strong>the</strong> five Sefirot, in each world <strong>the</strong>re are <strong>the</strong> four spiritual<br />

categories - Still, Vegetative, Animate, Speaking - where <strong>the</strong> soul <strong>of</strong><br />

man is regarded as <strong>the</strong> Speaking in that world, and <strong>the</strong> Animate is<br />

regarded as <strong>the</strong> angels in that world. The Vegetative are called <strong>the</strong><br />

clo<strong>the</strong>s, and <strong>the</strong> Still are called <strong>the</strong> halls.<br />

They are all dressed one in<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r - <strong>the</strong> Speaking, which are <strong>the</strong><br />

souls <strong>of</strong> people, are dressed in <strong>the</strong> five Sefirot: Keter, Hochma, Bina,<br />

Tifferet and Malchut - in that place. The Animate, which are <strong>the</strong><br />

angels are dressed in<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> souls, <strong>the</strong> Vegetative - which are <strong>the</strong> clo<strong>the</strong>s<br />

– dress in<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> angels and <strong>the</strong> Still - which are halls - encompasses<br />

<strong>the</strong>m all.<br />

The world <strong>of</strong> Assiya includes our world. The initial point <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Yud<br />

is in <strong>the</strong> world <strong>of</strong> AK and in <strong>the</strong> world <strong>of</strong> Infinity. That point is <strong>the</strong> beginning<br />

<strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> whole creation and <strong>the</strong> little tail beneath it points at what<br />

emerges and spreads from <strong>the</strong> point. This corresponds <strong>to</strong> Shoresh.<br />

Why are <strong>the</strong>se four letters used? This is because <strong>the</strong> point is a<br />

source <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> light. If <strong>the</strong> source <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> light moves <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> right, it means<br />

<strong>the</strong> light <strong>of</strong> Hassadim. If it moves <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> left, it is <strong>the</strong> lack <strong>of</strong> Hassadim. If<br />

this point goes down, it means <strong>the</strong> spreading <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> light <strong>of</strong> Hochma, if it<br />

goes up – <strong>the</strong> light <strong>of</strong> Hochma disappears.<br />
