we imply matter. It is possible <strong>to</strong> talk about it as well as about <strong>the</strong> light<br />

that fills <strong>the</strong> corrected Kelim (because it is <strong>the</strong> form assumed by matter)<br />

or about <strong>the</strong> Kelim <strong>the</strong>mselves in <strong>the</strong>ir corrected or uncorrected form.<br />

However, it is utterly impossible <strong>to</strong> speak about <strong>the</strong> light which is outside<br />

<strong>the</strong> Kelim, let alone imagine <strong>the</strong> essence which is even higher. There is<br />

no way we can say anything about <strong>the</strong> Crea<strong>to</strong>r Himself, <strong>the</strong> source <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

light.<br />

Baal HaSulam writes: “Do not think that you encounter <strong>the</strong>se<br />

problems only when you reach higher levels <strong>of</strong> attainment. It occurs<br />

even at <strong>the</strong> relatively low level <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> World <strong>of</strong> Assiya…” He says that<br />

each small level consists <strong>of</strong> its own Sefirot Keter, Hochma, Bina, ZA, and<br />
