corrected. Therefore, if man reached <strong>the</strong> level <strong>of</strong> Ruach <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> world <strong>of</strong><br />
Yetzira, it means that he permanently corrected this state and will never<br />
fall below it.<br />
Each level in each world should be completely corrected. This is<br />
<strong>the</strong> way that constant spiritual ascent takes place.<br />
But what if man falls from <strong>the</strong>se levels? When this occurs, it only<br />
helps him! Unless he fell, he would not be able <strong>to</strong> rise. He should fall<br />
from <strong>the</strong>se levels in order <strong>to</strong> acquire <strong>the</strong> additional Aviut. By doing so<br />
he ascends from <strong>the</strong> level <strong>of</strong> Ruach <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> world <strong>of</strong> Assiya <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> level <strong>of</strong><br />
Ruach <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> world <strong>of</strong> Yetzira.<br />
The same happens <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r levels: <strong>the</strong> additional desires are<br />
acquired and man falls again. So <strong>the</strong> falls are essential. The rise entails<br />
<strong>the</strong> fall; <strong>the</strong> lower <strong>the</strong> fall, <strong>the</strong> higher <strong>the</strong> rise, but it refers only <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> levels<br />
where man has not yet completely corrected himself. There is always<br />
some fixed (previous) level, whereupon man ascends <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> higher level.<br />
Modulo each consecutive state is more critical (both in minus and in<br />
plus) than <strong>the</strong> previous one.<br />
53. After correcting “<strong>the</strong> animal” part <strong>of</strong> his desire, man receives and<br />
transforms it in<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> desire <strong>to</strong> bes<strong>to</strong>w, so much so that <strong>the</strong> Crea<strong>to</strong>r<br />
Himself testifies <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> permanence <strong>of</strong> this condition. He achieves<br />
<strong>the</strong> similarity <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> world <strong>of</strong> Beria, ascends, and receives <strong>the</strong> light <strong>of</strong><br />
Neshama (in <strong>the</strong> world <strong>of</strong> Beria).<br />
That is, he ascends <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> world <strong>of</strong> Beria, where <strong>the</strong> level <strong>of</strong> Neshama<br />
is completely corrected. Naturally, <strong>the</strong> levels Ruach and Nefesh are also<br />
fully corrected on <strong>the</strong> level <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> world <strong>of</strong> Beria. At that, <strong>the</strong> levels Haya<br />
and Yechida remain uncorrected. This is necessary <strong>to</strong> ascend <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> world<br />
<strong>of</strong> Atzilut while correcting <strong>the</strong> level <strong>of</strong> Haya and proceed <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> world <strong>of</strong><br />
AK<br />
while correcting <strong>the</strong> level <strong>of</strong> Yechida.<br />
54. When man deserves <strong>to</strong> correct “<strong>the</strong> human” part <strong>of</strong> his desire,<br />
he becomes similar <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> world <strong>of</strong> Atzilut, ascends <strong>the</strong>re and receives<br />
