FILM SHOW:
Four film shows entitled, "The Last Roundup" and "Osprey", "The Voyage
of Charles Darwin" Parts 1-7, "The Making of Mankind" Parts 1-7 and "The
Waterhole" and "Amate-The Great Fig Tree", were shown during the fiscal year.
LECTURES:
Two lectures were organized at the Society's Home: "The Impatiens of Thailand"
by Prof. Dr. T. Shimizu on 16 September 1982, and "Studies on Gibbons of
Thailand" by Dr. Warren Y. Brockelman on 15 February 1983.
NATURAL HISTORY BULLETIN:
During the fiscal year the section fulfilled its commitment to publish NHB vol.
30 Nos. 1 and 2 containing original articles pertaining to the biological sciences of S.E.
Asia with particular emphasis on Thailand.
To bring the NHB up to professional standards, an Editorial Board has been
organised consisting of the following members :
