Some members of Council have expressed concern with both the tone of the letter, and
the implied threats in the letter, which were not in keeping with the comments made by
Building Canada representative at the February meeting.
Council will be responding to the letter received, and will be providing a status update
on the project; however, also requested was a meeting with the Provincial and Federal
government member that represent the Municipality to ensure their continued support
for the project and the efforts of the municipality to find the most cost effective solution
for our residents.
