agricultural buildings would be similar to the fee for the manure tank which is a
graduated fee structure based on size. For example:
Buildings from 0 – 600 square metres: $ 600.00
Buildings from 600 – 1500 square metres: $ 950.00
Buildings from 1500 square metres and up: $1200.00
If Council is supportive of this fee structure, it would be necessary to amend the building
permit fee by-law, which would require a public meeting, and the required 3 week notice
to be provided.
For this particular project, if Council was supportive of reducing the building permit fee,
a resolution, authorizing the application specific amendment could be approved.
