<strong>the</strong> restoration <strong>of</strong> JPS power supply was being awaited, at o<strong>the</strong>r facilities power has been<br />

restored however, voltage fluctuations <strong>and</strong> variation including low voltage is being experienced<br />

at <strong>the</strong>se facilities.<br />

The National Water Commission’s facilities in <strong>the</strong> Parishes <strong>of</strong> Kingston, St. Andrew, Portl<strong>and</strong>,<br />

St. Thomas, Clarendon, Manchester, St. Elizabeth <strong>and</strong> sections <strong>of</strong> St. Ca<strong>the</strong>rine were mostly<br />

affected by <strong>the</strong> hurricane.<br />

The Commission did not sustain major structural damage to its facilities, however,<br />

damage/displacement <strong>of</strong> pipelines <strong>and</strong> damage/loss <strong>of</strong> ro<strong>of</strong> to main <strong>and</strong> auxiliary buildings were<br />

reported for some areas.<br />
