TXR(DO)
A typical mounting arrangement for the type TXRDO crossed roller
bearing is shown in Figure 81.
The arrangement shown is for lubrication by oil circulation in
conjunction with an oil level. It can, however, be designed for grease
lubrication with appropriate sealing arrangements.
The bore of the housing (DH) and the diameter of the spigot (DS)
(Figure 82) should be machined to give a mean of the suggested
interference fits (pages 86-87).
The bearing is adjusted externally by segments beneath the top inner
ring clamping plate (Figure 82) to get the required preload.
