Unit aim<br />
To encourage learners to look at their own skills and qualities in relation to those needed at work<br />
and to use this understanding to identify key personal information needed for an application.<br />
Learning outcomes<br />
There are two learning outcomes to this unit. The learner will be able to:<br />
1. Understand the skills and qualities needed for working life<br />
2. Investigate personal career opportunities<br />
Guided learning hours<br />
It is recommended that 20 hours should be allocated for this unit. This may be on a full-time or parttime<br />
basis.<br />
Assessment and grading<br />
This unit will be assessed by:<br />
• Assessor observation<br />
• Oral questioning by the assessor<br />
