1.1 Qualification structure To achieve the Entry Level 3 Certificate in Personal Progression through Employment, learners must complete the mandatory units 303 and 305, and then achieve a minimum of 2 credits from either units 301, 302 or 304, and a minimum of 2 credits out of the remaining units from 306 - 317. The table below shows what the rules of combination looks like on the online catalogue. Entry Level 3 Certificate in Personal Progression Through Employment QCA ref: 500/6968/8 Rules for achievement 10 credits from (303, 305) plus minimum 2 credits from (301 - 302, 304) plus minimum 2 credits from (306 - 317) The optional units chosen should be those that best relate to the learners learning needs, their learning environment and available learning resources. This qualification also contains some Entry 2 units (units 315-317). The table below illustrates the unit titles and the credit value of each unit. Other options for progression include: • Paid work (either through their placement or with another employer) • Ongoing voluntary work to further develop their skills within a charity/not for profit organisation.
