Unit aim<br />
To introduce the learner to ways in which they can reflect on their own personal development and<br />
how their personal skills, abilities and behaviours can be improved.<br />
Learning outcomes<br />
There are three learning outcomes to this unit. The learner will be able to:<br />
1. Understand how to identify areas for self development<br />
2. Understand how to take responsibility for their own self development<br />
3. Be able to demonstrate how they have developed personal skills<br />
Guided learning hours<br />
It is recommended that 20 hours should be allocated for this unit. This may be on a full-time or parttime<br />
basis.<br />
Assessment and grading<br />
This unit will be assessed by:<br />
• Assessor observation<br />
• Oral questioning by the assessor<br />
• Learner feedback/self evaluation<br />
