47 09 Consent Calendar<br />
WHEREAS over time by foreclosure and other conveyances<br />
a substantial amount<br />
of property has come to ownership ofthe City of Bridgeport<br />
most of which is severely<br />
blighted and deteriorated or consists of vacant lots both buildable and non buildable 011<br />
properties that at one time or another have had accumulations of rubbish and debris fire<br />
damage building and fire code violations and the continuance of various neighborhood<br />
nuisances and<br />
WHEREAS the City owns five such properties<br />
as follows<br />
204 Wells Street Vacant Lot 2102 10<br />
13<strong>07</strong> Pembroke Street Vacant Lot 1731 43<br />
595 Hallet Street Vacant Lot 1751 16<br />
683 Kossuth Street Vacant Lot 1645 10<br />
156 Beach Street Vacant Lot 1761 2<br />
WHEREAS The City proposes to transfer the five above listed properties<br />
to the<br />
Habitat for Humanity of Costal Fairfield County so that Habitat for Humanity may<br />
develop these properties as single family or two family affordable home and<br />
WHEREAS all parcels are being offered for sale in as is where is<br />
will remain in their current land use and zoning classification as pad be subject to the City s standard reverter clause to ensure that development takes place as per plans and within areasonable time and<br />
