8 97 010 Declaration of Policy<br />
It is found and declared that there exists within the South End neighborhood a<br />
significant number of deteriorated property and propeirty that has been<br />
foreclosed is abandoned blighted or is substandard or posies a hazard to public<br />
safety and that the existence of such deteriorated forElclosed abandoned<br />
blighted substandard and hazardous property contributes to the decline of the<br />
South End neighborhood<br />
Connecticut General Statute Chapter 118 provides for<br />
municipalities to establish a Neighborhood Revitalization Zone to address these<br />
issues<br />
The South End neighborhood has followed the State Statujte and has adopted a<br />
South End Revitalization Zone Plan Per Connecticut General Statute Chapter<br />
118 and adopted City Council Resolution 111 95 the South End Neighborhood<br />
Revitalization Zone Plan shall be implemented and is hereby recognized
