Full-Time Students
Students enrolled for 12 or more credit hours during the fall or spring term or six or more credit hours during the summer I or summer II
terms are considered full-time students.

Graduation Requirements
Students who complete a program of study as prescribed by the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton will receive a
certificate or an associate degree. Graduates must have a passing grade in all required courses and a 2.00 cumulative grade point average.
Non-credit courses are not recorded on the official transcript and do not count toward graduation. College-level credits transferred from
another college or university may comprise up to one-half of the credits needed to receive a certificate conferred by UACCM and may
comprise all but 15 of the last 30 hours of an associate degree conferred by UACCM. Exceptions may be granted by the Vice Chancellor for
Academic Services.

• n Students have the option of retaking a course. When this occurs, the original grade is still used in calculating the semester grade point
average; however, the most recent grade is used in calculating the cumulative grade point average. The original grade remains a part of the
student’s record.
• n Credit from remedial courses, which are below college level, does not count toward meeting the graduation degree requirements; however,
the grades will be used in calculating the semester grade point average. The grades will not be used in calculating the minimum grade
point average required for graduation.
Honor Graduate Requirements
Students who meet the following requirements may be designated for Honor Graduate at the time of graduation from UACCM:
Highest Honors
Students completing graduation requirements for a technical certificate or associate degree may be designated as graduating with Highest
Honors if they have earned a 4.00 cumulative grade point average.
Honors
Students completing graduation requirements for a technical certificate or associate degree may be designated as graduating with Honors if
they have earned a 3.50 – 3.99 cumulative grade point average.
Transfer students must have completed at least one-half of their technical certificate or associate degree requirements at UACCM with the
required grade point average to be designated as an Honors Graduate.
