Nursing Entrance Testing Fees<br />

STEP Test<br />

Individuals wishing to enter the Registered Nursing Program are required to take the STEP Test. There is a $30 non-refundable, nontransferable<br />

test fee. This fee must be paid prior to scheduling an appointment.<br />

Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) Fee<br />

Individuals wishing to enter the Practical Nursing Program are required to take the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS). There is a<br />

$40 non-refundable, non-transferable test fee. This fee may be paid the day of the test.<br />

Public Safety Fee<br />

All students will be charged a $3 per credit hour public safety fee.<br />

Return Check Fee<br />

There is a $25 fee <strong>for</strong> each returned check.<br />

Student I.D. Card Replacement Fee<br />

All students will receive one <strong>college</strong> I.D. card free of charge. There is a $10 fee <strong>for</strong> each replacement card requested.<br />

Technology Fee<br />

All students will be charged a $10 per credit hour technology fee.<br />

Test Proctoring Fee<br />

Students enrolled in a course at another <strong>college</strong> will be charged a $25 fee when requesting Testing Services to proctor a test.<br />

Financial Aid<br />

Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy (SAP)<br />

Federal Regulations require students to maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) while working towards an approved degree or<br />

approved certificate program at UACCM. Academic Progress will be reviewed prior to a student’s initial enrollment period, if applicable, and<br />

at the end of each semester.<br />

<strong>To</strong> be in Good Standing <strong>for</strong> Financial Aid, a student must:<br />

• n Successfully <strong>complete</strong> at least 67% of all attempted credit hours<br />

• n Maintain a 2.00 Cumulative Grade Point Average and Semester Grade Point Average<br />

• n Attempt no more than 90 credit hours <strong>for</strong> an associate degree; 48 hours toward a technical certificate, 26 hours toward an approved<br />

certificate of proficiency, or 90 hours toward a Practical Nursing technical certificate. (Please see the maximum time frame section below)<br />

• n Must be on track to <strong>complete</strong> degree plan within the maximum time frame<br />

Financial Aid Warning<br />

Students will be placed on Financial Aid Warning if they do not <strong>complete</strong> 67% of attempted credit hours and/or do not maintain a 2.00<br />

cumulative or semester grade point average.<br />
