• n The success of this policy is dependent upon the courtesy, respect, and cooperation of students and <strong>college</strong> personnel, not only to comply<br />

but to continue to encourage the compliance of others.<br />

• n Any student that continues to violate this policy is subject to a monetary fine as established by the Board and disciplinary action as<br />

described in the Student Code of Conduct.<br />

• n Any employee that continues to violate this policy is subject to a monetary fine as established by the Board and the established procedures<br />

<strong>for</strong> resolving other work-related problems. Non-compliance with College Policy is grounds <strong>for</strong> termination of employment.<br />

Any visitor that insists upon violation of this policy is subject to permanent removal from UACCM property. Violation of <strong>college</strong> policy will<br />

cause agreements with such individuals or organizations to be terminated and the individual or organization may be barred from future use<br />

Visitors<br />

Visitors seeking <strong>in<strong>for</strong>mation</strong> about enrollment in UACCM are encouraged to visit the College campus. Visitors should contact the Admissions<br />

Office where College personnel can assist them. Visitors are welcome.<br />

UACCM facilities are designated <strong>for</strong> use by students officially enrolled, individuals who are on campus to gain enrollment <strong>in<strong>for</strong>mation</strong>,<br />

invited guests, or individuals otherwise conducting business with the College. Unattended children are not permitted use of the facilities, and<br />

individuals who are not enrolled in UACCM are not permitted to attend classes or labs without permission of the administration.<br />

Computing Usage<br />

UACCM computer accounts are allocated a limited amount of space on the network server. If this space is filled, users will no longer be<br />

able to save files or send and receive mail. Individual users must delete their mail periodically. UACCM representatives reserve the right to<br />

periodically delete mail and files.<br />

The following actions are not permitted at UACCM:<br />

• n Permitting another person to use <strong>your</strong> account, sharing <strong>your</strong> password, accessing another person’s account, or attempting to access another<br />

user’s account.<br />

• n Using UACCM’s computers to impersonate, deceive, or defraud another user.<br />

• n <strong>To</strong> view, transmit, execute, or store messages, images, or material that is threatening, abusive, profane, malicious, pornographic, obscene,<br />

racist, discriminatory, sexually explicit, harassing, slanderous, or of a stalking nature.<br />

• n Using, pirating, or copying computer software, music, images, or other copyrighted material in a manner, which violates U.S. copyright<br />

laws or software vendor licenses.<br />

• n Using computer resources to transmit solutions or answers to class assignments other than to the instructor.<br />

• n Any activity, which would cause another user to lose their computer privileges.<br />

• n Using computer facilities <strong>for</strong> personal profit, commercial business, or <strong>for</strong> political purposes.<br />

• n Any attempt to compromise the security at UACCM or any other site.<br />

• n Any activity, which would negatively affect the per<strong>for</strong>mance of the network.<br />
