Note<br />

The Certificates of Proficiency in Computer<br />

Maintenance and Networking Technology<br />

are primarily designed <strong>for</strong> professionals<br />

seeking to add or refresh skills needed to<br />

maintain or advance their level of expertise<br />

as required <strong>for</strong> their careers. However, these<br />

certificates of proficiency are also useful<br />

stepping stones toward a higher degree or<br />

as an add-on skill <strong>for</strong> students majoring in<br />

other disciplines.<br />

After UACCM<br />

Graduates are employed as:<br />

• n Network administrators<br />

• n Help desk specialists<br />

• n Service technicians<br />

This program is designed to allow<br />

students to enter the work<strong>for</strong>ce quickly.<br />

Students are provided the technical<br />

skills required to install, maintain, and<br />

troubleshoot PCs. Hands-on training with<br />

industry-standard equipment enhances<br />

the educational experience <strong>for</strong> students.<br />

Students completing the certificate may<br />

take exams leading to an A+ Certificate.<br />
