5. Baran Tec Keypads<br />
These keypads are available in two styles: 3 x 4 keypads (part number LNL834S121NN) and 2 x 6 keypads<br />
(part number LNL826S121NN).<br />
5.1. LNL826S121NN 8-bit Output Keypad <strong>Reader</strong><br />
The reader requires a 12-28 VDC power source and has a current draw of 30 mA. Therefore, the reader can<br />
be powered directly from either of the reader interface modules.<br />
The wiring diagrams describe wiring if the keypad is being connected in line with another BEST supported<br />
reader and the LED support for the keypad is being used. The keypad features a 2-Wire LED configuration.<br />
If the LED support for this keypad is not being used, omit the connections for those two wires. The reader is<br />
using a standard 8-bit output format.<br />
