11.4. Dorado Elevator <strong>Reader</strong> 570<br />

This reader operates at 35 mA at +5.5 volts (regulated 4.75 to 5.75).<br />

If you are going to power the reader from the BAS-1320, set jumper 4 to the ON position for 5 volts and<br />

jumper 2 for regulated mode.<br />

A four-position DIP switch is located on the reader circuit board to control the reader options. The reader<br />

should be set to Mode 6. Note that the fourth switch is not used and should be set to the OFF position.<br />
