13.8. iClass <strong>Reader</strong><br />

The HID iClass <strong>Reader</strong> (model numbers R10/R30/R40) operates at 10-16 VDC. The average current draw<br />

for the R10 is 65-122 mA; the R30: 80-260 mA; the R40: 80-260 mA. The LEDs and buzzer function the<br />

same as standard HID Wiegand/Prox readers.<br />

Note:<br />

HID iClass readers must be unlocked with a special command card before they are operational<br />

with B.A.S.I.S. software.<br />
