Chapter 6 SLOPE STABILITY A.2 PROBLEM Figure 6.14 shows a slope stability analysis of an embankment on soft clay using a commercial software; SLOPE/W. The soil stratums are as illustrated in Figure 6.14. In order to increase the factor of safety, two layers of high strength geotextiles were adopted.
