on current affairs; read contemporary literary prose; write<br />
texts about a wi<strong>de</strong> range of subjects; achieve the <strong>de</strong>gree of<br />
confi<strong>de</strong>nce with the language that makes communication fluid<br />
and clear. Compared to a 3-Credit Advanced 1 course, this<br />
course <strong>de</strong>votes more time to practicing the four main language<br />

simple and routine tasks requiring an exchange of information<br />
on familiar matters, to <strong>de</strong>scribe their background and issues<br />
