The purposes of this department are:<br />
• to equip students to explore and understand biblical and<br />
other foundations basic to effective Christian education;<br />
• to formulate a biblically based philosophy of Christian<br />
education for ministry in home, church, and school; and<br />
• to develop skills essential to competent Bible teaching and<br />
administration in Christian organizations.<br />
As a member of the Evangelical Training Association (ETA), the<br />
<strong>Seminary</strong> is authorized to grant the teacher’s diploma of the<br />
association to students who meet certain course requirements.<br />

Educational Process of the Church<br />
McLaughlin and the Department<br />
A study of the educational ministry of the local church,<br />
with attention to aims, principles, leadership, organization,<br />
and agencies of a biblical program for all age groups.<br />
Enrollment limited to 40 students. 3 hours.<br />
