the process of discipleship. The<br />

professor and students share together<br />

the discipleship experience, using<br />

various techniques of sound discipleship<br />

The Role of the Associate<br />

in Ministry<br />

From candidating to ministry development,<br />

this course will enable the<br />

student to be effective from the first<br />

day in ministry. Key program issues will<br />

include recruiting, training, and working<br />

with professional staff. A comprehensive<br />

approach to evaluating various church<br />

ministries will be developed. Weddings,<br />

funerals, and baptismal services will be<br />

discussed. Field trips to various local<br />

ministry organizations give practical<br />

experience in weddings, funerals,<br />

baptism, camping, hospital visitation,<br />

and homeless ministry. 3 hours.<br />
