JOHN W. REED<br />

Dr. Reed has been a vital part of the <strong>Dallas</strong> <strong>Seminary</strong> faculty since 1970. Currently<br />
he serves as the director of the Doctor of Ministry program. Listed in Outstanding Educators<br />
of America, Dr. Reed also is recognized for his vast pastoral experience, which includes 37 years<br />
at churches in Indiana, Ohio, and Texas. He is also a chaplain (Lt. Col., retired) in the United<br />
States Air Force Reserves and is a member of the National Guard Association of Texas. He<br />
currently serves as president of the Association of Doctor of Ministry Education. Dr. Reed presently<br />
is researching the religious experiences of Civil War soldiers. His teaching interests are in the areas<br />
of preaching and Doctor of Ministry research methods.<br />
DONALD P. REGIER<br />

Professor Regier’s passion is to minister through art and technology. For over 36<br />
years he has created and executed innumerable multimedia presentations for<br />
<strong>Dallas</strong> <strong>Seminary</strong> and also has guided thousands of students in the development of audiovisual<br />
support for their ministries. He and his wife, Jan, consider themselves parents of “two families.”<br />
With four grown children, they adopted two little girls from China. Professor Regier’s new children’s<br />
book, The Long Ride, tells their story and compares adoption with entrance into God’s family.<br />
RAMESH P. RICHARD<br />

Dr. Richard, a member of the faculty for over 20 years, is also the founder and president<br />
of Ramesh Richard Evangelism and Church Health (RREACH), a global proclamation<br />
ministry that seeks to evangelize leaders and strengthen pastors of developing economies. He has<br />
ministered in over 70 countries, and is the founder and chair of the Trainers of Pastors International<br />
Coalition. Dr. Richard ministered as the pulpit pastor of the Delhi Bible Fellowship in New Delhi,<br />
India. His teaching interests include preaching, evangelism, and missions. His research interests<br />
include global pastoral training, contemporary (and future) world trends, hermeneutics for homiletics,<br />
applied Christian apologetics, and Christological uniqueness in the present.<br />
JAY L. SEDWICK JR.<br />

Baptist <strong>Theological</strong> <strong>Seminary</strong>, 1996; Ph.D., 2003.<br />
Dr. Sedwick has more than 21 years of youth ministry experience, including the<br />
presidency of the Virginia Baptist Youth Ministers Association. He has four children,<br />
guaranteeing a youth laboratory in his house for the next 16 years. An ordained minister who<br />
teaches youth at a large <strong>Dallas</strong>-area church, Dr. Sedwick is also a popular conference and seminar<br />
speaker and Sonlife trainer. His research and teaching interests include legal and financial issues<br />
in ministry, youth development, biblical education for youth, and curriculum design.<br />
