two semesters, with 100 hours of involvement

An analysis of the qualities and practices
of the effective Christian leader based
on principles in Scripture and related
literature, with attention to devising a
personal philosophy of spiritual leadership.
Enrollment requires consent of
professors. Third-year or above students
only, or must have two previous years
of ministry experience. Fall only, 3 hours.
Personal Assessment and
Ministry Vision
Hillman
A course designed to assess and define
a person’s ministry strengths and weaknesses
and to develop leadership and
interpersonal skills for more effective
ministry, for the purpose of building
confidence in future ministry decisions
and developing vision. Enrollment is
limited and requires the consent of the

The Department
This course is designed for students
who choose to participate in special
conferences, training, or programs that
are more formal in nature and require
student participation other than a
standard independent study. Approved
special topics will provide expertise
or training not specifically covered in
the Seminary curriculum. Credit is
allowed proportionate to the required
amount of work but is not to exceed
four semester hours on any one
topic. Enrollment requires consent
of the department. 1–4 hours.
