The Fredrik Franson Award<br />
in World Missions<br />
An annual award of $250 is given by The Evangelical<br />
Alliance Mission in honor of Fredrik Franson,<br />
founder of TEAM and 14 other missions, to the<br />
M.A. student who has done the most outstanding<br />
work in world missions.<br />
The Alden A. Gannett Award<br />
An annual award of $250 is given by the children<br />
of Alden A. Gannett in his memory to the student<br />
in the Christian Education department who demonstrates<br />
a commitment to Christian education as<br />
a vocation, an exemplary Christian character, and<br />
involvement in departmental functions as well as<br />
church or parachurch ministries during the year.<br />
The George W. Peters Award<br />
in World Missions<br />
An annual award of $250 is given by The<br />
Evangelical Alliance Mission in memory of<br />
Dr. George W. Peters, missionary statesman,<br />
theologian, and chairman of the World Missions<br />
department at <strong>Dallas</strong> <strong>Theological</strong> <strong>Seminary</strong><br />
(1961–78), to the student who has best advanced<br />
missions awareness on campus during the academic<br />
year. This award is given at the annual World<br />
Evangelization Conference.<br />
The C. Sumner Wemp Award<br />
in Personal Evangelism<br />
An annual award of $250 is given by Global<br />
Missions Fellowship in honor of Dr. C. Sumner<br />
Wemp, <strong>Dallas</strong> <strong>Theological</strong> <strong>Seminary</strong> alumnus, distinguished<br />
Christian educator, and exemplary personal<br />
soulwinner, to the student who has demonstrated<br />
a consistent lifestyle of personal evangelism.<br />
The Anna L. Ayre Award in Center<br />
for Biblical Studies Teaching<br />
An annual award of $250 is given by Mr. and Mrs.<br />
Theodore P. Ayre in loving memory of his mother,<br />
Anna L. Ayre, to the student who demonstrates<br />
outstanding teaching ability in the <strong>Dallas</strong> <strong>Seminary</strong><br />
Center for Biblical Studies.<br />
The Leadership Fellows Award<br />
An annual award of $250 is given by the Center<br />
for Christian Leadership in memory of George L.<br />
Clark, Creath V. Davis, Dr. Trevor E. Mabery, and<br />
Hugo W. Schoellkopf III, four Christian businessmen<br />
from <strong>Dallas</strong> who died in a plane crash in 1987.<br />
This award is given to the Th.M. student who has<br />
made an outstanding contribution to the Spiritual<br />
Formation program at the <strong>Seminary</strong>.<br />
The Donald K. Campbell Award<br />
in Bible Exposition<br />
An annual award of $250 is given by Dr. Harold<br />
and Mrs. Loraine Chafer Van Broekhoven in honor<br />
of Dr. Donald K. Campbell, professor of Bible<br />
Exposition (1954–94) and president of <strong>Dallas</strong><br />
<strong>Seminary</strong> (1986–94), to the doctoral student<br />
who demonstrates outstanding scholarship in<br />
Bible Exposition.<br />
