The Karl and Amanda Manke Memorial<br />

Scholarship Fund<br />

An award given in memory of Karl and Amanda<br />

Manke to provide tuition assistance for Ph.D.<br />

students in the Old Testament Studies department.<br />

The Dr. J. Dwight Pentecost Scholarship<br />

for Excellence in Bible Exposition<br />

An endowment fund established by Gene Hong<br />

Yee and Jo An Yee in recognition of Dr. Pentecost’s<br />

lifelong devotion to the teaching ministry at<br />

<strong>Dallas</strong> <strong>Theological</strong> <strong>Seminary</strong>. This award will<br />

provide tuition assistance for Ph.D. students,<br />

with preference given to those studying in the<br />

Department of Bible Exposition.<br />

The E. C. and H. M. Royster Scholarship Fund<br />

A term endowment fund established by Robert L.<br />

and Rosemary R. Cromwell in honor of her parents,<br />

Ernest C. and Hattie M. Royster, for tuition<br />

assistance and travel to Israel for male Th.M.<br />

students entering their last year of training or for<br />

male students in the Ph.D. program.<br />

The Van Broekhoven Memorial<br />

Scholarship Fund<br />

A fund established by the Honorable and<br />

Mrs. Rollin Van Broekhoven to provide tuition<br />

assistance for international Ph.D. students.<br />

MINORITY STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS<br />

The Black Evangelistic Enterprise<br />

Scholarship Fund<br />

A fund established by the Black Evangelistic Enterprise<br />

for tuition assistance to a fourth-year Th.M.<br />

student who demonstrates outstanding study of<br />

and ministry in the African-American community<br />

in evangelism and discipleship.<br />

The Daniel Scholarship Fund<br />

Established by friends of <strong>Dallas</strong> <strong>Theological</strong><br />

<strong>Seminary</strong> to provide tuition assistance for<br />

minority students.<br />

The Orlando and Dorothy DeAcutis<br />

Scholarship Fund<br />

A fund established by Mr. and Mrs. Orlando<br />

DeAcutis to provide tuition assistance for African-<br />

American students.<br />

The JoAnne G. and Robert B. Holland III<br />

Scholarship Fund<br />

A fund established by Mr. and Mrs. Robert B.<br />

Holland III for tuition assistance for African-<br />

American students.<br />

The Lovvorn–Sedwick Scholarship Fund<br />

An endowment fund established by the families of<br />

Mr. and Mrs. Martin C. Lovvorn and Mr. and Mrs.<br />

Jay L. Sedwick Sr. to honor their lives of faithful<br />

service to the Lord. The award will provide tuition<br />

assistance for qualified minority students.<br />

Scholarship Fund<br />

A fund established by Mr. and Mrs. Howard<br />

C. Miller for tuition assistance for African-<br />

American students.<br />

SCHOLARSHIPS<br />

The David B. Anderson Scholarship Fund<br />

A fund established by Mr. and Mrs. Walter S.<br />

Anderson and friends in memory of their son<br />

David to benefit international students in any of<br />

the Master of Arts degree programs, specifically<br />

those from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, or Latin<br />

America who plan to return there after graduation.<br />

The Bobby Gene and Kathleen Barshop<br />

Memorial Scholarship Fund<br />

A fund established by Linda Aland-McMenamy<br />

and J. Hamilton McMenamy in memory of their<br />

dear friends Bobby Gene and Kathleen Barshop<br />

who were instrumental in their Christian development.<br />

This award will provide assistance for<br />

African students.<br />

The Chinese Chapel Scholarship<br />

A fund established by a friend of Chinese students<br />

on the <strong>Seminary</strong> campus, for tuition assistance for<br />

Chinese students from overseas.<br />

The Goddard/Horner/Premier<br />

Scholarship Fund<br />

A fund established by Dr. J. Howard Goddard and<br />

others for financial assistance to a deserving international<br />

student who shows great promise.<br />

The Richard and Shanthi Gunasekera<br />

<strong>Theological</strong> Scholarship Fund<br />

A fund established by the children and friends of<br />

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gunasekera Sr. to provide<br />

tuition assistance for Sri Lankan students preparing<br />

for full-time pastoral and teaching ministry in their<br />

home country.<br />

The Robert T. and Marilyn M. Martin<br />

Scholarship<br />

A scholarship fund established to assist<br />

international students as they prepare for<br />

ministry in their country, region, and/or culture.<br />

The J. Vernon McGee Tuition<br />

Scholarship Fund<br />

A fund established by Mrs. George Clerk in honor<br />

of Dr. J. Vernon McGee to assist international<br />

students with their tuition.<br />

The Micah Scholarship Fund<br />

Established by friends of <strong>Dallas</strong> <strong>Theological</strong><br />

<strong>Seminary</strong> to provide tuition assistance for<br />

international students.<br />

The Bob and Jane Owen Scholarship Fund<br />

An endowment fund provided by Wendy Kang<br />

Owen in honor of the godly parents of her late<br />

husband, and distributed to students from Asia<br />

who are committed to spreading the gospel in<br />

their home countries.<br />

The Taiwanese Student Scholarship Fund<br />

A fund established for tuition assistance for<br />

students from Taiwan who intend to return<br />

to Taiwan for ministry.<br />

Canadian Student Scholarships<br />

A separate scholarship fund is provided for<br />

Canadian students. The administration of this<br />

fund is in accord with the policy stated under the<br />
