intercultural ministry settings. Students<br />

in the <strong>Academic</strong> Ministries track may<br />

substitute this course for CE215 Teaching<br />

in Christian Higher Education. May also<br />

credit toward the Ph.D. program (with<br />

approval from the director of Ph.D.<br />

WM415 Church Ministry<br />

in Global Perspective<br />

Students will develop a philosophy and<br />

strategy for building local churches with<br />

global impact, including how to network<br />

with parachurch organizations to advance<br />

and “closure strategy” in missions, with<br />

urban missions, with emphasis on living<br />

conditions; social, ethnic, linguistic, and<br />

in Contemporary Missiology<br />

A study of theological issues affecting<br />

missiological thinking in relation to Christianity—the<br />

uniqueness of Jesus Christ<br />

in a pluralistic world; soteriology—the<br />

eternal destiny of the heathen; anthropology—biblical<br />

absolutism and cultural<br />

relativism; pneumatology—signs and<br />

wonders, and other charismatic issues;<br />

and eschatology—premillennialism and<br />

society. May also be credited in the Department<br />
