SPECIAL DEFINITIONS (Specific for the Present Guide) Consumer Product A manufactured product or item containing radioactive substance, which is exempted from regulatory control. Field Radiography Radiography operations carried out on shop floors, erection sites or other such areas with provisions for adequate radiological safety for the radiography personnel and others including members of the public. Person Any individual, or a company, or association, or body of individuals, whether incorporated or not; or central government or a state government. Worker Any person who works, whether full-time, part-time or temporarily, for an employer and who has recognised rights and duties in relation to occupational radiation protection.
