More Names for the "Who's Who" List

FOLLOWING publication in the November,
1953, SCROLL of the list of Phis
in the 1952-53 volume of Who's Wfio in
America it was to expected that our attention
would be called to certain errors of
commission and omission. We are pleased
to publish the following supplementary list
of Brothers who earned this high honor, but
whose names were omitted from the original
list either because Who's Who failed to
identify them as Phis or, in some cases, because
of clerical errors in compiling the list.
It will be a matter of pride to all Phis
to know that the addition of these names
to the list brings our total listings for the
current volume to 690. We doubt not that
there are still other errors which, if reported
to General Headquarters, would
bring Phi Delta Theta's total number of
"Who's Whoers" over the 700 mark.

A Phi of old Delta Chapter (now Alpha-Delta at
Centre) who has been listed in Who's Who for more
than forty years. An outstanding, nationally known
Churchman, he has been pastor of the Presbyterian
Church iri Talladega, Alabama, since 1938. He originally
moved to Talladega to retire but his congregation
has refused to let him do so. The omission of Dr.
Crowe's name from the original list was due to a
clerical error in compilation, and was called to
Brother Beam's attention by William Minter, Kentucky
'26, of Talladega,
