The annual Founders Day dinner of the * A 6 alumni
group in Clearwater, Fla., was held March 19 at the Clearwater
Yacht Club.
Following an address by J. W. Dunning, Penn State '14,
of Niagara Falls, N.Y., he made a presentation to Chairman
John C. Cosgrove, Finance Commissioner of the
Fraternity. It was a handsomely bound scroll from the
Penn State chapter in recognition of his long and cherished
activities in behalf of his chapter and province.
Plans were discussed for holding an annual December
dinner to include members and their ladies, and also
for a rushing picnic early in September. Dean Hoffman,
Dickinson '02, P.P.G.C, gave an informal talk as the concluding
part of the program.

Buffalo
Thirty-six Phis gathered at Hartman's Restaurant on
March 25 to celebrate Founders Day and to enjoy the
fellowship of Phidom. Barrett Herrick, Reporter of the
General Council, recounted for us the rich heritage that
is our Fraternity and admonished us to have the courage
to "stand up and be counted" for causes we believe just.
Three brothers were presented with Golden Legion
Certificates. They are: Elmore M. Benedict, McGill '06;
Dr. John W. Pontius, Ohio Wesleyan '06; and Charles R.
Waters, Union '07. Since Brother Henry P. Pope, Illinois
