view toward changing Section #26 of the
Constitution, the language of which has
remained unchanged since its adoption in
1910. These and other important items of
business will undoubtedly combine to make
the 50th General Convention one of the
most historic in our 106 years history.

and in order to start your planning with all
necessary facts and figures at your disposal,
you are asked to see material below for important
information with respect to costs,
modes of travel, hotel reservations, etc.

Who May Attend
Every member of $ A 0 is entitled, indeed
urged, to attend. Married Phis feel free to
bring their families aboard the Good Ship
Phi for this great reunion. 116 active chapter
delegates from as many chapters, and 45
general officers will be required to be in attendance.
These, along with properly certified
alumni club delegates, will comprise
the official group. All others will be welcome
at all sessions to participate in the
discussions which will occur.
Michigan
How Much Does It Cost!
Not one red penny for the official chapter
delegates and general fraternity officers. The
active chapters should be reminded, however,
that the general fraternity will assume
the expenses of only one man. Even
he, or his chapter, must make arrangements
to pay for all taxes, state or federal, and
incidental expenses which he may incur
going to, while at, or returning from the
Convention. Board and room for the duration
of the convention (3 nights lodging,
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and 10
meals, beginning with lunch on Wednesday)
will be provided at general fraternity
expense. All alumni club delegates and unofficial
visitors will be provided with convention
rates averaging $15.00 per day per
person, American plan. There will be a
registration fee of $10.00 for each alumni
club delegate and all others except general
officers and active chapter official delegates.
