The purpose <strong>of</strong> services is to provide legal<br />
representation, to communicate, and educate<br />
clients <strong>of</strong> their legal rights.<br />
Other services provided: Community Legal<br />
Education Program educates community members<br />
about basic legal rights by providing free legal<br />
workshops, and brochures.<br />
Consumer Law Project protects clients’ rights in<br />
consumer transactions and helps them deal on a<br />
more equal, level plane with reservation and<br />
border-town businesses.<br />
Self-Help Center Project DNA is in the process <strong>of</strong><br />
developing self-help centers at each <strong>of</strong> its nine<br />
<strong>of</strong>fice locations.<br />
Pro Se Project empowers individuals by helping<br />
them represent themselves in court when<br />
appropriate.<br />
Southwest Full Faith and Credit Project is<br />
committed to combatting domestic violence and<br />
to bring about the immediate and consistent<br />
enforcement <strong>of</strong> foreign protection order within the<br />
Navajo Nation.<br />
Native American Protection and Advocacy Project<br />
provides legal representation to Native Americans<br />
with disabilities.<br />
