Griggs Las Cruces, New Mexico 88005 Phone: (575) 523-2042 Web: http://www.lcdfnm.org Page 35 Family Focus Intervention and treatment services are offered to children, adolescents, and their families based on the family's strengths and needs. These services may include as- needed crisis management, counseling, assessment, educational groups, therapy and psychiatric intervention. The professional staff provides specialized services for substance abuse, emotional disturbances, educational issues, family problems and behavioral disorders. Home-Based Treatment Programs The Home-Based Treatment Team and Mid-Level Family Preservation Service Programs are intended to provide voluntary services to families experiencing severe disturbance in their functioning that may affect the well being of their children, and works towards the goal of strengthening and preserving families. The identified population requirements for the Home- Based Services are: Involvement with Children, Youth, and Families Department (CYFD), Juvenile Probation and Parole Officer (JPPO), risk of out-ofhome placement, Special Emphasis Division (SED), and high-risk behaviors. The identified population requirements for the Mid-Level Family program are members being identified as moderate or high risk for abuse and/or neglect. Services to be provided to these families in both programs will include (but are not limited to): therapeutic intervention, skill building (i.e. parenting, communication skills, household management, and conflict resolution), advocacy, and networking families with appropriate community services. Open Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM; and Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM. After hours services are available to clients by appointment. *Ex-offenders welcome. AFLP offers individual, group and family counseling; prevention of domestic violence; family support for parenting teens (male and female), 18 and under; and health-related prenatal and parenting education for teen parents. Administration hours are Monday-Friday 8 AM-12 PM, and 1 PM-5 PM. *Ex-offenders welcome.
